Thinking of going live on Instagram just for fun?
Not so fast!
Unless your account is public and you’ve got at least 1,000 followers, you’ll get a friendly message saying, “Sorry, you’re not cool enough to use Live.”
Regular users and small creators, looks like you’ll have to settle for texting your friends or—gasp—posting a Story instead.
💼 Instagram claims this is all about improving the “Live experience.”
Translation: if you don’t have a crowd, you’re not getting on stage.
Hosting all those live streams costs money, so why not save a few bucks by kicking out the little guys?
At least TikTok did it first, so Instagram’s just “following the trend.”
🧠 Meanwhile…
YouTube will let you go live with just 50 subscribers—how generous!
If you’re upset about Instagram’s new rule, you’re not alone.
Plenty of users are voicing their frustration, but unless you start collecting followers, going live is off-limits for now.
📊 Long story short:
Fewer awkward live streams, more influencer content, and the rest of us get to watch from the sidelines.
Want to chat live? Better rally those followers, superstar!
⚡ Quick Microlearning Corner
New Rule: Only public Instagram accounts with 1,000+ followers can go live.
Why? To “improve the experience” (aka save money and reduce low-quality streams).
Not Just Insta: TikTok has the same 1,000-follower rule, while YouTube only wants 50.
What Happens? If you don’t meet the threshold, you’ll see a notice and can’t use Live.
Tip: Focus on building your audience if you want to go live, or just FaceTime your friends the old-school way!

Azure and Google Cloud are speeding ahead—Azure shot up 39%, and Google Cloud climbed 32% year-over-year.
Amazon’s AWS? Only 17% growth, and that flat pace has investors sweating.
Why the big difference?
It’s all about who has the most powerful AI computing muscle, and right now, Amazon admits they just can’t supply enough.
💸 The big four - Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Meta
…just poured almost $96 billion into new tech and data centers, the biggest CapEx ever.
Toss Oracle into the mix, and the total breaks $104 billion.
Even Apple says it’s joining the AI investment party.
The message?
Cloud and AI are the new battlegrounds for tech giants.
💡 All this spending is powering the boom in digital ads and cloud computing—plus a red-hot market for the chips that run it all.
If you’re looking to spot the next investing wave, keep your eyes on the clouds (and the semiconductors behind them)!
⚡ Quick Microlearning Corner
Azure and Google Cloud are accelerating, AWS is lagging behind.
Record CapEx: Over $104 billion poured into cloud and AI infrastructure.
Amazon is struggling to meet demand for AI compute power—big opportunity for chipmakers.
Cloud and digital advertising are fueling massive tech profits.
Every tech giant (even Apple!) is ramping up spending to win the AI race.

He shows how adults actually have the advantage when it comes to learning—so it’s never too late to get started.

Wyner borrows a clever trick from opera singers—practice specific sounds with targeted exercises until they stick!
✨ The best part:
You don’t have to treat language learning like a punishment.
The key is to turn abstract rules into specific, real-world examples that mean something to you.
And remember, this journey isn’t about perfection - it’s about progress, joy, and a lifetime of new opportunities.
⚡ Quick Microlearning Corner
